Other than it's strength this is only an average beer. I can't say too much about it as this was the third or fourth pint of the night.

JDW Preston. Copper coloured bitter with a malty aroma and a definate malty/rum flavour. OK

I've got to say that this was a pretty poor effort... it could, and should, have been quite a good pint. It did have a rich appearence - unfortunatley the malt was a little too sweet for my liking. It's not unpleasant. If you were stranded in the Sahara, 2000 miles from civilisation... you'd drink it, but you still wouldn't like it.

Copper coloured strong ale with a tang to the nose and taste. Refreshing for such a heavy beer with a pleasent metalic aftertaste.

Golden bitter with a malty flavour. Dry finish. Not a bad pint, but alongside Summer Lightning - No contest
