An impressive floral and slightly smokey aroma lead to an interesting dry fruity taste and a good bitter finish.

With a name like Cascade I was expecting to taste some Cascade hops! Not a chance I think they had wafted one from some distance during the boil. This wasn't a bad beer it just lacked about everything I was expecting.

Had this beer at the Troon Beer Festival, October 2005. Dark amber in colour with faint smokey malt on the aroma. Slightly sweet with hints of brown sugar and slight orange peel flavours. Dry woody aftertaste.

A typical dark, clear, smooth stout. Hints of caramel in the taste with a bitter, chocolate aftertaste. Easy drinking ale.

An orange brown standard beer with a bitter, citrus taste. Some sweetness eventually in a drying, hoppy finish.
