The Three Judges Pub in Glasgow has the strong ales from this brewery during the winter months. In January 2003 I had the pleasure of sampling this remarkable stout. Jet black in colour with tight white creamy head. Powerful fruity aroma, smelling of pineapples (like Belahaven 90/). This similarity continues into the taste as it has a wonderful silky smooth texture in the mouth feel. Rich fruit evident with pineapple and sultana notes. Dry almost vineous aftertaste, one to slowly savour.
