Sampled this novelty honey ale in the Saltcot, Saltcoats (JDW) in May 2004. Amber in colour with a thin white head. Slight honey note in the aroma with a thin mouthfeel. Pale malts giving a little digestive biscuit base with warming golden syrup followed by a slight meady taste. No hop resin of note as sweetness continues through to the finish. Pleasant summer session ale.

Amber colour with a hint of honey in the aroma. Sweetish honey taste with a hint of hops in the finish. Pleasant pint.
