An unexciting pint. Not bad but no real flavours shining through either.

This beer had a reasonable amount of flavour, and had a mild amount of aroma about it. Not bad in the whole, I have had far worse beers. I would advise B & T to be a bit more adventurous in the mix and add a few more aromatic hops.

A nice mid amber session ale with an impressive fruity nose. The taste was again of slight fruit and a good degree of bitterness. Worth a try.

A well conditioned chestnut brown ale with a fruity nose. Tangy and fruity to start with a very dry and hoppy aftertaste. Bitter to finish.

Tasted this traditional bitter in Esquire House, Glasgow (JDW) in June 2010. Crystal clear pale copper in colour with a thin white head. Short aroma of crisp green apples. Thin mouthfeel and poor lacing. Weak pale malt base gives a digestive biscuit note with a slight hint of dried currants. Aftertaste is dry and metallic, with a sharp tang of hop resins. Finish is very dry and bitter with a woody oak cask note. An ok session bitter but very thin bodied and lacking in complexity.
